© 2008 East Public Relations.  All Rights Reserved

East Public Relations was founded in September 2005 by Kimberly Williams with a primary focus on tour press, fan database development and web site maintenance.

Tour Press

East Public Relations will work 6 weeks in advance of all dates for an artist, covering up to a 100-mile radius of the venue.  We will send out press releases and follow up with phone calls and e-mails, aggressively pursuing features, covers and reviews of each concert.  We will  act as a liaison between the event promoter and artist in a professional and courteous manner, helping to ensure the success of the event and the return of the artist for futures dates.

Database Development

East Public Relations believes it is very important to increase an artist's fan database.  We will work directly with the artist, guiding them on building their database and following up with monthly e-newsletters and updates to the fans.

Web Site Development & Maintenance

It is of utmost importance that an artist uses the tools it has to keep the public informed.  We can design an artist web site or simply take over the maintenance of an artist's site, ensuring up-to-date information, news, photos and calendar updates as well.

About Kimberly Williams:

A native of Texas, KIMBERLY WILLIAMS moved to Nashville in 1992 after beginning her love for music with her family’s band where she sang and played mandolin. She has performed demos as a vocalist for top songwriters and publishers in Nashville including Gerald Smith, Vern Gosdin, Hank Cochran, Tom Collins Publishing, Co-Heart Music, and Muy Bueno Music.

Kimberly put her skills in concert and event production to work when she secured a job as a producer for Gaylord Entertainment’s Opryland Productions and Grand Ole Opry Group.  During her 7-year tenure with Gaylord, Kimberly produced shows and special events for Opryland theme park, including the popular “Sundays In The Park” event series that included a monthly bluegrass jam, gospel and song writing events, working hand-in-hand with the Grand Ole Opry Group's marketing team.  She managed the Roy Acuff Theatre and booked entertainment for 7 lounges in the Opryland Hotel and Resort. In addition, Kimberly produced convention concerts for some of the biggest acts in music including Lee Ann Rimes, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, Chicago, Reba McEntire, Huey Lewis and the News and Stevie Wonder.

Kimberly co-founded the bluegrass group Williams & Clark Expedition in 2002.  She handled all booking for the band until December 2004.  At that time, she began focusing on publicity and marketing for the band as well as working on special projects for the City of Sparta, TN and the Franklin, KY Music Festival.
